kext and AppleHDADisabler kext from my kext/others folder I had read that AppleALC would work with my ALC892 codec, and it does indeed.. plist in Clover, but none of them seem to work as I'd like them to Right now I'm using the following Audio configuration in Clover (see attachment): ResetHDA checked, Inject 99.. The trick was downloading the AppleALC kext from GitHub and removing both VoodooHDA.. I thought that having two conflicting instances of the same kext could create the issue.. In my Sound preferences (attach #2), though, I only see the USB headset I have attached (and if I select this, everything works fine but sound comes from the headset, of course), then a set of 6 HDMI exits (none of them works), and in the end a 7.. Select the language and bit-version you want (PC users can choose between 32-bit and 64-bit), and then click Install.. As well (image attached) I think I am missing something, something that I probably deleted from my system, maybe when I installed VoodooHDA again from SourceForge (which was definitely a mistake, though somehow it solved the volume slider issue).. My monitor is connected through a DisplayPort cable and I would love to hear audio from its speakers..
